About Us

Starview Heights

Starview Heights is a premier gated single family home community situated  in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains With both short and long range views of the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains, we are  located just off Hwy 26 (Exit 17 Flat Creek Rd.) in Weaverville, NC (Buncome County).

Immediate Notice to Property Owners & Residents

CLUBHOUSE SECURITY

This is a reminder that... if you are the LAST PERSON in the clubhouse that you check all exterior doors (regardless if you exited them) to ensure the facility is properly secured.  Also remember to reset the thermostat to its designated setting.  75 summer / 65 winter.   

2025 - POOL OPENING

The Starview Pool will be open in early May.


A few reminders:

- Pool rules are posted - please familiarize yourself with them

- There is no lifeguard on duty. Please do not swim alone.

- There is an emergency 911 phone line that is placed near the entrance door to the clubhouse.

- Children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times.

- If you are the last person at the pool, please make sure all sun umbrella's are secure, all trash picked up, and any pool toys put in the bin receptacle.

- Guests are welcome, however, if the Starview property owner is not with their guest, they MUST HAVE a pool pass or they will be asked to leave.  If you do not have one, please contact Fred Bosbous to obtain your pool pass.

2025 - Trash/recycle collection - FCC ENVIRONMENTAL

Effective 1/1/25 FCC Environmental took over from Waste Pro for trash//recycling collection.

For information please look at the FCC website at https://fccenvironmental.com/buncombe-county/.    


Holidays: FCC recognizes 6 National Holidays.  If the holiday falls on a week day, collection will be delayed by one day. so it will push our FRI pick-up to SATURDAY of the same week.Your regular recycling and garbage collection will be delayed one day if it falls on or after the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day 


Bin Exchange:

IF you wish to exchange your bins for smaller bins, you will need to contact FCC Environmental directly at 828-820-7022 for a bin exchange.

DOG PARK

 The Dog Park is available to all Residents and guests of Residents.  Please follow the Dog Park rules which are posted on the fence before you enter the park area.  Please make sure your dog is leashed at all times except when placed in the respective pens.  Please PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG and report any altercations that have occurred to the Property Advisor. Please ensure that you have  a signed Disclaimer and Release of Liability Waiver on file with the Property Advisor before you or your guest use the Dark Park.

Exterior Home Changes (?) - Landscape Architecture Committee

Residents are reminded that any changes made to the exterior of your home, from roof replacement, repainting, hardscape landscape changes, any exterior modification/alterations, requests to cut trees on common land behind your home, etc. MUST BE APPROVED BY THE Landscape Architecture Committee (LAC)  BEFORE  you make any changes. If in doubt ask!  Please forward any request in writing to Pam Gowers at pamela10@sbcglobal.net.  Pam will provide further guidance to further information needed for LAC approval.
